Our History

The first Carman's retail store was opened in downtown Goderich, Ontario, Canada in the year 1972 by Eric Carman SR. During the 70's we were known as Huron Camera Centre from 1980 until 1995 we operated as Carman Cameras, and today we trade under the name CARMAN'S FOTO SOURCE.

Today, CARMAN'S FOTO SOURCE consists of 10 stores throughout Ontario and an on-line sales division.
